Buffalo Tempeh "Wing"
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces tempeh, sliced into 24 strips
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Panko breadcrumbs
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 F.
- Add 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, chili powder, garlic powder and pepper to a bowl, stir to combine. Add in the tempeh strips and coat evenly. Add into the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Add the panko breadcrumbs to a bowl and coat on both sides.
- Line a pan with parchment paper and add the tempeh evenly across the pan. Bake the tempeh for 25-30 minutes or until crispy.
- Once all of the strips are cooked, add the remaining 1/4 cup of buffalo sauce to the leftover marinade. Add cooked strips to the bowl and toss until coated with sauce.
- Serve and enjoy!
