When should I expect to receive my order?

We target to ship meals within 2 business days of orders being placed. Ordering ends at 4:00pm EST each day. We provide deliveries on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Once you are enrolled in a subscription you can expect a routine shipping day each week. For shipping details, see our Shipping Policy page.

Can I choose my meals?

You can choose a calorie range and either Pescatarian or Vegetarian meal options. We specially curate 3 complete days’ worth of meals based on our most popular dishes in our taste trials.

How are recipes selected?

Our recipe selection and development processes are very involved. Some of our recipes come direct from centenarians in Longevity Regions, or from famous restaurants and chefs in those regions. They may also be fusion dishes made from ingredients commonly found in Longevity Regions. After the recipe is acquired, a team of dietitians review the nutritional facts and ensure the meals fit within the Longevity Diet specification. Lastly the recipe goes through a trial period where it is prepared by our Executive Chef, taste tested, and plated for food photographers. Then if the recipe passes each stage successfully it is added to a future menu.

Can I order more than 3 days of meals?

Back to back orders can be processed to add to 6 days of meal kits. Our development team is also working on different meal kit sizes like 2 serving and 4 serving options. These will be available in the near-term future.

Can I skip a delivery once I am enrolled?

Skipping a delivery is an option as long as that change has been made by 4:00pm EST, 2 business days prior to shipment. This can be done by e-mailing us at Inquiry@nutritionforlongevity.com.

How long do the ingredients stay fresh in transit?

We have carefully designed sustainable packaging that has a minimal impact on the environment while working hard to ensure your box arrives with all ingredients at the appropriate temperature. Our boxes contain ice packs and a specially designed thermal liner that allows us to maintain a desired temperature for 35 hours from shipping. This packaging is regularly tested across various temperature zones and seasons. This may require adjustments to packaging as the season progresses. We advise that you place all perishable items in the refrigerator immediately upon delivery due to the perishable nature of this food.

How do I cancel an order?

Cancellations can be made prior to processing of the order and shipment pending usually 2 full business days. You will still be responsible for any fees or taxes processed due to the order. You can either skip an order in your account settings or you can entirely cancel your account by sending an email to Cancellation@nutritionforlongevity.com. Full account cancelations will be processed within 5 business days of request.

Can I gift my meal to a shelter if I am away from town?

We are in the process of installing a donation program to gift your meal box if you are unable to receive it in the given week. As soon as this process is enabled you will be able to click on donate in your account and select which week to donate your meal kit box to one of our partner organizations fighting food scarcity.
