Apple Cinnamon Toast

Apple Cinnamon Toast

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices, bread of choice
  • 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 large apple
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons almond butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Slice the apples into slices and heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once it is heated, add in the apples with a pinch of salt and sauté until they become tender, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  2. Toast the bread while you let the apples cook. 
  3. Once the apples become tender, add in the cinnamon and cook for another minute. Drizzle with the maple syrup, stir it in and let the apples caramelize for a couple of seconds. Turn off the heat once they finished.
  4. Take your toast and add the almond butter onto it. spreading it evenly. Once that is on, spoon the apples over top.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
