Apple Cinnamon Toast
Ingredients:
- 2 slices, bread of choice
- 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 large apple
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 Tablespoons almond butter
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
Instructions:
- Slice the apples into slices and heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once it is heated, add in the apples with a pinch of salt and sauté until they become tender, about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Toast the bread while you let the apples cook.
- Once the apples become tender, add in the cinnamon and cook for another minute. Drizzle with the maple syrup, stir it in and let the apples caramelize for a couple of seconds. Turn off the heat once they finished.
- Take your toast and add the almond butter onto it. spreading it evenly. Once that is on, spoon the apples over top.
- Serve and enjoy!
