Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:

  • 15 ounces canned pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons whipped butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 frozen pie crust

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Add some flour to a flat surface. Roll out the pie crust so it is thin enough to cut off about 30%.
  3. Place the rolled out pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and cut off the excess dough.
  4. In a large bowl, add in the pumpkin puree and butter, mix well.
  5. In an electric mixer, add in the eggs, egg whites, brown sugar, milk, pumpkin spice & butter mix, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until it becomes smooth.
  6. Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust. Bake the pie for about 75 minutes, or until testing the center comes out clean.
  7. Cut into 10 slices and serve with favorite toppings and enjoy!
