Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients:
- 15 ounces canned pumpkin
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons whipped butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 large egg whites
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 frozen pie crust
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Add some flour to a flat surface. Roll out the pie crust so it is thin enough to cut off about 30%.
- Place the rolled out pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and cut off the excess dough.
- In a large bowl, add in the pumpkin puree and butter, mix well.
- In an electric mixer, add in the eggs, egg whites, brown sugar, milk, pumpkin spice & butter mix, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until it becomes smooth.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust. Bake the pie for about 75 minutes, or until testing the center comes out clean.
- Cut into 10 slices and serve with favorite toppings and enjoy!
